Coos Forest Protective Association the official website

The Coos Forest Protective Association will host two separate open houses where people can learn about wildland fire protection in Coos, Curry and western Douglas counties. The events will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. September 5^th in Coos Bay and September 12^th in Brookings.  The free events will include hot dogs and beverages.

Activities at each Open House will include displays and information on defensible space, safe debris burning, campfires and much more. Fire equipment will also be on hand giving kids of all ages the opportunity to spray water and learn how firefighters put wildfires out.
