The Coos Forest Protective Association employs roughly 85 seasonal firefighters during the course of fire season.  Jobs range from Laborer I (18 years and older), County Crewperson (16-17 Year Olds), Crew Foreman, Dispatchers and Lookouts.  The hiring process takes place during the off season, primarily late winter and early spring.  Interested parties should contact the Assistant Unit Forester in the appropriate area (listed below).  You may also download an application form here, complete it and return to CFPA headquarters in Coos Bay.
